At the IET Future Tech Congress 2022, technologists from academia, government and industry came together to work as transformation agents guiding and directing policy makers and decision makers to help make the world a better place.

It gave me immense pleasure to be part of the extraordinary FTC 2022, where the utility of new technologies were debated and the long term benefits for a country like India, were discussed. The IET has grown by leaps and bounds and has become a very powerful voice in India, considering the interplay of new technologies.

I thank the IET for inviting me to participate in FTC 2022. It would be a tremendous advantage if IET and FTC can inspire indigenous development of global technologies and algorithms among the country's talent pool.

I am very glad that the IET is putting together the Future Tech Congress and hope to engage regularly on this platform. Eventually, the Govt can only play the role of a technology enabler. It is up to the Industry - large corporates, niche players and start ups who really have to take it up. I also invite the IET to host the next edition of the FTC at Hyderabad!
